HRa contract between a labor union and an employer, resulting from collective bargaining and covering conditions of employment and procedural arrangements for resolving disputes. In the United Kingdom, a collective agreement is not legally binding unless it is in writing and specifically states the parties’ intention to be bound. An agreement can become legally binding by being incorporated into an employee’s personal contract of employment. Agreements may be concluded at organization or industry level. -
